Our childcare teachers are the heart of our program. Each member of our team is passionate about early childhood development and committed to nurturing every child’s unique learning journey. Our teachers bring a wealth of experience, warmth, and dedication to the classroom, creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can thrive. All of our lead teachers are either licensed educators or working toward credentials in early childhood education, child development, or related fields. With backgrounds in both classroom teaching and hands-on care, they blend structured learning with play-based exploration to support every area of development, from social-emotional growth to cognitive skills.

Vice President & Early Childhood Educator – The Learning Spot Inc. 

 

Cyrus Williams is a dedicated educator, mentor, and co-leader of The Learning Spot Inc. As Vice President and a former kindergarten teacher, Cyrus brings over four years of classroom teaching experience and a deep passion for early childhood education. His calm, nurturing presence and strong background in child development make him a favorite among children and parents alike. Cyrus is known for his ability to connect with children on their level, bringing patience, empathy, and joy into every interaction. He creates a structured yet playful learning environment where children feel safe, respected, and motivated to grow. As a former public school teacher, Cyrus incorporates literacy-rich lessons, hands-on activities, and social-emotional learning into his approach. 

 

His love for teaching is evident in his creativity, his consistent encouragement, and his willingness to go the extra mile to help every child succeed. In his leadership role, Cyrus also supports program development, family engagement, and daily operations at The Learning Spot. He plays a vital role in upholding the organization’s mission: to provide high-quality care and education in a loving, family-centered environment. Danisha Williams

Secretary & Preschool Teacher|Training Administrator – The Learning Spot Inc. 

 

Danisha Williams serves as the Secretary and Training Administrator at The Learning Spot Inc., where she combines her love for children with her passion for organization and professional development. With a strong background in early childhood care and a heart for helping others grow, Danisha plays a vital role in both classroom support and behind-the-scenes operations. As a childcare teacher, Danisha is warm, patient, and intentional. She connects easily with children of all ages, bringing energy, creativity, and compassion into each learning experience. Her nurturing presence helps children feel safe, valued, and confident as they explore the world around them. In her administrative role, Danisha ensures the smooth operation of daily activities by managing communication, documentation, and staff coordination. 

 

As Training Administrator, she also supports the onboarding and continued education of team members, leading workshops, organizing staff development opportunities, and helping to maintain high-quality standards across all Learning Spot programs. Danisha is committed to excellence, teamwork, and growth. Her unique ability to balance structure with heart makes her a core pillar of The Learning Spot’s mission to uplift families and empower young learners through care, connection, and education.

Aaliyah Young

Infant Teacher – The Learning Spot Inc. 

 

Aaliyah Young is a compassionate and attentive Infant Teacher at The Learning Spot Inc., where she provides nurturing, responsive care to our youngest learners. With a natural gift for working with infants and a deep understanding of early development, Aaliyah creates a calm, loving environment where babies feel safe, secure, and cherished. She is known for her gentle voice, patient spirit, and close attention to each child’s individual needs. From bottle feedings and diaper changes to tummy time and sensory play, Aaliyah approaches every interaction with warmth and intention. She closely tracks each infant’s developmental milestones and works hand-in-hand with families to support healthy routines, strong attachment, and early learning. Aaliyah brings consistency, comfort, and joy to the infant room each day. Her dedication helps lay the foundation for lifelong learning, one snuggle, smile, and song at a time. Melody Bryant

School-Age Teacher & Special Education Specialist – The Learning Spot Inc. 

 

Melody Bryant serves as a School-Age Teacher and Special Education Specialist at The Learning Spot Inc., where she brings both expertise and heart to her work with diverse learners. With a strong background in education and a specialized focus on supporting children with unique learning needs, Melody is a passionate advocate for inclusion, growth, and individualized success. Melody’s classroom is a place where every child feels seen, valued, and capable. She skillfully combines structure with flexibility, designing lessons that are engaging, differentiated, and developmentally appropriate for students from various backgrounds and ability levels. Whether helping with homework, leading hands-on activities, or offering social-emotional support, she is deeply committed to meeting each child where they are. 

 

As a Special Education Specialist, Melody uses evidence-based strategies to support students with learning differences, behavioral needs, or IEP goals. She collaborates closely with families and other staff to ensure accommodations are met and progress is monitored with care. Melody is known for her calm demeanor, deep patience, and problem-solving mindset.
